The 5 Worst Types of Basketball Players

Certain types of players make basketball games harder to play. Here are my 5 worst type of players to play with in basketball.

1. The ball hog is one of the worst type of players to play with.  Especially if they make a shot or two.  They do not understand the concept of getting others involved.  Good news is you can work on your rebounding with a ball hog on your team.  You may get a pass when they have no other option.  By then you are already frustrated with them as a teammate.
2. The fancy passer is a player that has a hard time making a fundamental pass to an open teammate. They mean well but thats not god enough when you’re trying to win. What ever pass you think you should get, the fancy passer usually does the opposite and gives the ball back to the other team.
3. The fouler player uses fouls to make up for a lack of talent. They will foul you just to stop you from scoring. It’s easy to get mad at a fouler but you have to keep your cool. Best way to handle a fouler is to foul them out with strong moves.
4. The heartless player doesn’t play with any passion or will. They don’t chase loose balls and usually give up easy shots.  This type of player will let you down in big defensive moments.  The only way to handle this type of player is to not be on their team.
5. The angry player gets mad at you for making good plays on them. They resort to intimidation to throw you off your game. Don’t buy into it. Keep your poise and continue to play your game. A great way to handle an angry player is to play harder and smarter.
